- The client will own the copyright of the book
- The cover of the book and brief details will appear on the website
- Caroline Brannigan will pass on any requests to buy the book
- The initial £1,000 fee is refundable in full if the client cancels before the first interview. If the client cancels after this, a refund will be given in proportion to the amount of interviewing and writing work done.
- Large scale edits will be done at the first proof stage.
- The fee for design of £1,000 is refundable in the event of cancellation in proportion to the amount of work done.
- After the design stage, small changes can be made.
- When the printing fee has been received (£500 for hardbacks up to 120 pages, £300 for paperbacks) the book will go to the printer. Once the book has been sent, no refund can be given.
- Caroline Brannigan is not responsible for the factual content of the book or errors detectable only by the client and not corrected by them. However, Caroline will check facts where reasonably possible and advise of errors.
